FIXATION TOOLS AND SUPPORTS
To work with extremely accurate instruments the support plays a key role determining the quality of the measurements. To ensure the most reliable conditions, TOMELLERI ENGINEERING developed a set of accessories that allow the user to get the best from their measuring arm.
TRIPOD
​
Stable and practical, is the ideal accessory to move easily and quickly the SPACE arm. The handwheel at the base allows you to quickly switch the retractile wheels from measurement position to mobile position, and vice versa in a gradual way to avoid shocks.
The tripod is adjustable in height (range 900-1400mm) and the weight of the tripod column is balanced by a gas spring. A side handle allows for vertical and horizontal movement of the tripod. A removable and rotary shelf allows positioning of the laptop next to the measuring arm.
MAGNETIC BASE
​
The magnetic base represents the easiest way to fix the measuring arm close to the measured parts. Thanks to the magnetic attraction, this base grants the accuracy of the heaviest support, but very light and comfortable to be moved and trasported with the arm.
OTHER SUPPORTS
​
From steel tables for pipes inspection to support interfaces for mass counterbalanced instruments: all the Articulated Arms of the catalogue have their own set of accessories that ensure the most reliable fixation, with possibility to customize the solution depending on the necessity.

All the probes are available with Magnetic Mount or Renishaw™ Autojoint; with a whole set of styli with any dimension, from 1 mm to 8 mm of diamter.
MECHANICAL PROBE​
​
Available with Magnetic Mount or Renishaw™ Autojoint. The mechanical probe is the standard touch probe, available with different sphere diameter. Points can be taken touching the part and pushing the button on board the probe body. The smallest usable probe diameter is 1mm to guarantee the point accuracy, the maximum length suggested is 100mm. Any of the Renishaw standard M4 stylus is applicable.
TOUCH TRIGGER PROBE (Renishaw™ LP2)​

The touch trigger probe acquire points applying the minimum force on the measured part. Is a very precise, quick and comfortable in use, acquires points only touching the surface, without triggering buttons. Available with many different stylus length and sphere diameters. The model offered is produced by Renishaw™ (model LP2 kit)
FLOATING PROBE
​
Is the revolutionary new concept probe designed by TOMELLERI ENGINEERING. It is a rigid mechanical probe suspended on a spring driven by an aluminum ring that triggers the probe with a simple touch. The integrated force control avoid to apply uncontrolled load on the part, improving accuracy and repeatability.
TOOLS FOR ON-SITE CALIBRATION
PROBE CALIBRATION​

To use the instrument every part has to be properly calibrated in order to ensure the best performance. The calibration of the probe is a very easy procedure and is performed directly by the customer with a certified sphere, included as standard with every any supplied by TOMELLERI ENGINEERING.
ON SITE CALIBRATION (for re-seller)​

TOMELLERI ENGINEERING's reseller around the world are trained on the arm's calibration procedures, to be able to assist the customer in the most
practical and efficient way.
The local reseller have at its disposal all the instrument of calibration he needs, from any size of certified gages to specific tools designed for the instrument verification. These instruments, combined with a special software provided by TOMELLERI ENGINEERING, allow the complete calibration of the measuring arm on site!
